The collection exhibition I ❤️ New Work is an invitation to fall in love – with artworks you haven’t yet discovered. Voorlinden presents works that have recently been added to the museum collection and have not been shown before. Each piece is designed to catch your eye, spark your curiosity, and make your heart beat faster.

As a collectors’ museum, the collection is the beating heart of Voorlinden, and it continues to grow steadily with new modern and contemporary paintings, photographs, sculptures and installations. We ourselves are deeply passionate about discovering and collecting new artworks (and artists) that move, surprise and touch us. I ❤️ New Work showcases Voorlinden’s most recent discoveries. They are works that have been added to the collection in the past five years and have not previously been seen at the museum.

Recent acquisitions
Voorlinden’s collection is continually expanding with modern and contemporary artworks from all over the world, ranging from emerging talents to internationally celebrated artists. Dutch and Belgian artists are well represented in the collection. For instance, in I ❤️ New Work you can see works by Erwin Olaf, Jan Dibbets, Klaas Kloosterboer, Ann Veronica Janssens, Luc Tuymans, Johan De Wit, Harold Ancart and Filip Gilissen, who created the titular work. You can also view pieces by Darren Almond, Carl Andre, Mark Bradford, Angela Bulloch, Daniel Buren, Michael Craig-Martin, Sonia Delauney, Andreas Eriksson, Andreas Gursky, Dhewadi Hadjab, Carsten Höller, Ilya – Emilia Kabakov, Stephan Kaluza, Sarah Morris, Gabriel Orozco, Yan Pei-Ming, Alice Schorbach and Ed Templeton.
