Voorlinden offers a complete experience of art, nature and architecture; an oasis in the bustling metropolitan area. The museum is open 365 days a year, every day from 11 am to 5 pm. It hosts exhibitions featuring works from its own collection, as well as solo exhibitions by emerging talents or internationally renowned artists. This summer, the solo exhibition by the world-famous choreographer William Forsythe is on display.
William Forsythe is renowned for his reinvention of ballet and his innovative approach to choreography. Alongside his stage work, he also creates ‘choreographic objects’ that blur the boundaries between dance and contemporary art. This summer, visitors to Voorlinden can experience his installations. They require visitors to take an active role and, at times, to make a physical effort.

What will you be doing?
You will help create an unforgettable experience of the William Forsythe exhibition, which will be on display at Voorlinden from 6 June to 23 August 2026. To this end, you will receive an introduction to the exhibition from Studio William Forsythe. Thanks to your background in dance, theatre or the performing arts, you will guide visitors in an inspiring and knowledgeable manner: you will observe, advise, explain how the choreographic objects came about and encourage visitors to actively experience the objects – always with safety and turnaround times in mind, so that everyone continues to enjoy themselves.
Who are you?
- You have a background in dance, theatre or the performing arts and an affinity with contemporary art.
- You have strong communication skills, are welcoming, presentable and know how to engage visitors.
- You are physically active and comfortable guiding visitors through interactive and sometimes challenging artworks.
- You enjoy working as part of a team and contribute ideas to ensure the best possible visitor experience.
- You are available to work flexibly from 1 June to 23 August, preferably including weekends.
- You are at least 18 years old and have a good command of Dutch and English.
